The Weirdies Get Weirder by Michael Buckley

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I truly enjoyed this book.

I liked the first book in the series and loved the second. I hope there will be more in the series. It was so much fun.

I went into it thinking that it's a children's book, but many of the jokes would go over a child's head, even an older child. It was fun.

I recommend this book.

Friday I'm in Love by Camryn Garrett

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I picked this up because the cover caught my eye.

It was a sweet book about a teenage girl getting through her adolescence. It covers family, friends, and relationship issues in a realistic way. I did spend a lot of time with the song by The Cure running through my head because of this book, though.

I would recommend this book.

Black Sheep by Rory Scholl

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved this story! The relationship between grandson and grandmother was beautiful and so relatable.

I gave it 5 stars because of the flow of the story and how much I loved the grandmother.

I highly recommend the story.

Take a Number by Amy Daws

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I picked this up because I enjoyed the other books in the series.

I enjoyed the story, but I would have liked to have seen a little more of the characters from the other stories. Yes, they were in the book, but I would have thought they would have been further along in their stories during the time between books. It didn't feel like much time had passed for the other characters.

I would recommend this book.

Mistletoe Kisses by Macie St. James

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I picked this up because it was a freebie.

I started it multiple times, but just never really got into it. I pushed through just to get the book off my TBR list. It was just ok. Nothing really wrong with it, just wasn't capturing my attention.

I wouldn't recommend or not recommend this book. It was just ok.

One of Us Is Dead by Jeneva Rose

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I picked this up in an effort to read some of the paper books I own. I had received it as a gift.

I enjoyed the story. I loved the way we were guessing until the end. Not only were we guessing the killer, but we were also guessing the victim.

I recommend this book.

Things Have Gotten Worse Since We Last Spoke and Other Misfortunes by Eric LaRocca

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I picked this up for bookclub. It's not my usual genre.

It was well written and I couldn't put it down, but some parts were really hard to read. I pushed past them and managed to finish. It was eventually a good book, but super creepy.

I'm not sure if I would recommend the book
